The Access and Inclusion Plan is part of our commitment to persons with a disability.

Mayor Peter Murrihy

I encourage residents to consider contributing to the conversation.

The Geelong community has long been characterised by people who really look out for one another.

Everyone deserves equal access to goods, services and facilities in our community.

This committee presents an opportunity to formally represent the interests of people in our neighbourhood who may be affected by disability.

Councillor Anthony Aitken - Volunteering and Disability Portfolio Chair

I urge residents to consider applying to be a part of the committee.

It's vital that we see disability access and inclusion as a normal part of life in the Greater Geelong region.

When we improve the opportunity for everyone to participate and be included, we have a stronger community.

Community members joining this committee will have the chance to make a very real difference in the lives of others around them.
