Items seized during search warrant in Tumbarumba

Items have been seized during the execution of a search warrant and Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) at two properties in the state’s south, NSW Police say.

At 10.30am today (Wednesday 28 November 2018), officers attached to Riverina Police District executed a search warrant at a property on Reservoir Lane, Tumbarumba.

Police seized a firearm bolt, ammunition, fireworks, a substance believed to be cannabis, and an electronic control device.

About 11.45am today (Wednesday 28 November 2018), a Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) was executed at a property on Regent Street, Tumbarumba, where police seized a white substance believed to be cocaine and an electronic control device.

No one was located at either property during the search warrants.

As inquiries continue, police are urging anyone who may have information relating to thefts from properties around the Tumbarumba area to come forward.
