As part of the new tennis centre and multisport pavilion project in the Glen Waverley Sports Hub, the upgraded intersection of Waverley Road and Jells Road in Glen Waverley will be operational from Wednesday 25 January.
The Department of Transport, which controls the intersection, has approved the activation of the traffic signals at the intersection.
Road users should be aware the traffic signals are now operating, and the intersection construction works have been completed.
The intersection upgrade is to cater for the safe movement and operation of increased traffic as a result of the sports hub, especially during peak periods.

Construction at the Glen Waverley Sports Hub site will continue throughout 2023 with the tennis centre open for play in 2024.
