The countdown is on as swimmers get set to dive back in and lap up the major upgrades and renovations at Jindabyne Indoor Swimming Pool.

Council can confirm that Jindabyne Indoor Swimming Pool will reopen to the public from Saturday 23 September 2023, after an extended closure that has seen significant upgrades to pool infrastructure, and complete replacement or overhaul of much of the building's structure.

The ventilation system has been completely replaced, along with the steel roof structure and building support beams. This modern HVAC system greatly improves climate control and air quality.

With the majority of the work complete, our dedicated team of Council staff and contractors will spend the next few days working on the finishing touches – including:

  • Monitoring water quality
  • Installation of evacuation plans and signage
  • Practical contract completion

Council would like to thank the Jindabyne community for their support and understanding while the pool has been closed during these renovations and upgrades. We can't wait to welcome you back from Saturday 23 September.
