Dean added "It was a really good finish, I'm very proud of how we went, it was a really solid final. I'm proud of the girls this morning, we had a really rough start but we really nailed in and our next two rounds were really solid so I'm really proud of the girls we did really well."

Speaking on how they qualified for the final, Collins said "As Kiara said we started off a little bit rough and then we came together really strong and in the shoot off we just remained cool, calm, and collected and we just had positive thoughts and went out with no pressure and it really came together. I'm just proud of all of us."

The Trap Team Women bronze medal was the final medal for the Junior Australian Shotgun Team in their 3-medal haul, with Kiara Dean having earlier become the Junior World Champion in the Women's Trap event with Breanna Collins having picked up the bronze medal.
