Justice of Peace service returns to Libraries

Sunshine Coast Council

Sunshine Coast Council Libraries' popular free Justice of Peace service is now available at Beerwah, Coolum, Kawana and Maroochydore Libraries by booking via email or phone.

Community Portfolio Councillor David Law said he was pleased to see the dedicated volunteer JPs return to the libraries.

"Many people in our community rely on this service, so it's great to see it recommencing in a COVID-safe way," Cr Law said.

"The health and safety of staff, volunteers and the community remains our highest priority so customers will be required to make an advance booking with library staff to use the JP service.

"Customers are also asked to bring their own pen and continue adhering to social distancing requirements, including good hygiene and not attending if you are feeling unwell.

"JPs will be available at certain times throughout the week. To check availability visit the library website, library.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au to view the schedule."
