Katherine Hospital to Evacuate Amid Severe Weather

As a precaution, NT Health is evacuating Katherine Hospital due to significant weather conditions in the next 24 - 48 hours.

Up to 20 inpatients will be transferred to Royal Darwin and Palmerston Regional Hospitals to continue receiving care, and up to 9 pregnant women will also be evacuated as a precaution.

NT Health will continue to keep families of patients informed about their loved ones through regular updates.

Medical care in Katherine

Katherine Hospital will continue to provide emergency care until further notice.

Any patient requiring admission to Hospital will be transferred to Royal Darwin and Palmerston Regional Hospitals for admission.

NT Health will provide the location for Emergency Care in Katherine when confirmed.
