Midland Detectives have charged a 21-year-old man after an incident in Kiara on Wednesday, 16 August 2023.
About 1.30pm the man entered a supermarket located on the corner of Aussat and Bottlebrush Drives. It is alleged the man attempted to steal an item before being confronted by a staff member.
It will be alleged the man assaulted the 37-year-old female staff member, punching her several times. She received medical treatment for injuries to her face.
The 21-year-old man from Midland has been charged with Aggravated Robbery and is next due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court on 6 October 2023.
