Kids and Council join forces for CFS

Bridgewater CFS Brigade recently approached Council with a proposal to revegetate around its facility. It was a terrific opportunity for Council and CFS to join forces with Bridgewater Primary School students who worked tirelessly to set the plants up in their new home. The species chosen are not only indigenous and naturally fire retardant but also help to stabilise the bare slopes and small drainage line within the road reserve. All involved will no doubt take great pride and ownership over this significant improvement to the 'gateway' of the thriving Bridgewater township.

Great work everyone!
