Knox Mayor On ABC Radio

Knox Mayor, Councillor Paige Kennett appeared on ABC Radio Melbourne Mornings on Thursday to discuss Council services and answer listeners' questions.

She sat down in the ABC Melbourne studio with Raf Epstein for his Meet the Mayor segment, where they spoke about a wide range of issues affecting Knox.

Topics included concerns about the Boronia shopping precinct, access to personal belongings following a fire at a privately-owned Scoresby storage facility, and Council's advocacy to the state government to improve the mowing of median strips on state-owned roads.

Cr Kennett also discussed the joint advocacy of about 40 councils against the costly glass bin rollout opposed by most Knox residents , our residents' support for the fortnightly rubbish collection , and the potential implications of a change of government following the November state election.
