Labor hypocrisy on mental health

Labor has no credibility on mental health services. As the facts clearly show only the Government has a comprehensive Plan to improve mental health services.

FACT: Labor’s policy during the state election was to not rebuild the Peacock Centre.

FACT: The Government has confirmed that the Peacock Centre will be rebuilt by 2020, in line with our election commitments.

FACT: Labor’s $23 million mental health policy was one quarter the size of the Government’s.

FACT: Labor’s election policy did not include funding for specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health facilities.

FACT: We are funding and building these facilities and they will be finished next year.

FACT: Labor were thoroughly confused on whether their "10 beds" were acute or sub-acute.

FACT: Labor could not even say where these 10 beds would be.

When it comes to mental health lazy Labor have failed to present a credible alternative, they are all complaint and no solution.
