Lake Argyle serious crash

Major Crash Investigators are currently investigating a serious crash that occurred in Lake Argyle on Saturday, 31 July 2021.

In the early hours of 31 July, a white Toyota Landcruiser in convoy with two other vehicles was travelling east along the Victoria Highway when near Molly Springs (approximately 40kms out of Kununurra) the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Landcruiser left the road and rolled several times.

The three occupants of the vehicle received critical injuries and were conveyed by ambulance to Kununurra District Hospital before being transferred to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.
