Large amount of diamond rings stolen from Modbury, SA

Holden Hill detectives are investigating the theft of a large amount of gold and diamond rings from a Modbury jewellery store, and have released images of the suspects captured on CCTV footage, according to SA Police.

At about 11.15am, the two men pictured below entered the Modbury Triangle Shopping Centre and went to the front window of Menzies Jewellers. A large rock was used by the men to smash the window and 86 gold and diamond rings were stolen from the display.

The two men then ran out to a blue early 2000’s model Holden sedan which was driven away from the scene by a third suspect.

Police are asking any members of the public who can either identify the suspects, or can provide information from the scene including where the suspects may have gone after leaving the shopping centre to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au

Anyone who sees a large amount of gold and diamond rings offered for sale either online or elsewhere is also urged to contact police.
