The Lott

A Latrobe mum is looking forward to upgrading her family home with a dreamy $1.5 million TattsLotto win, and she's most excited about having two bathrooms at last.

The Apple Isle resident held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4619, drawn Saturday 25 October 2025 and takes home $1,556,751.24.

So far in 2025, there have been 18 major lottery wins in Tasmania that have collectively taken home more than $85.45 million in prize money.

Despite discovering the windfall on the weekend, the gleeful woman was still reeling from excitement.

"Oh my god!" she joyfully exclaimed.

"It's life-changing for us!

"I looked at the win yesterday and I thought something was wrong. I went straight to my husband and I said, 'Can you look at this? Am I reading this correctly?'.

"He was quick to confirm that I was in fact reading the $1.5 million win correctly. We're still in so much shock!

"We've told my parents about the win but told them to keep it under wraps until we have it all confirmed.

"It's so exciting. We can finally upgrade to a bigger house; we'll probably stay in the same area.

"I can't wait to have a house with two bathrooms - woohoo!"

Her winning 10-game QuickPick was purchased via The Lott app - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
