School leaders and community representatives came together to explore how they can better support young people at this year's Manningham Principals' Breakfast.
The annual event provides an opportunity for school principals, teachers, students, councillors, Victoria Police and community organisations to share insights, discuss challenges and strengthen support for young people.
This year's presenter was Dr Justin Couslon, a leading parenting expert, author of 11 books and presenter of popular podcast Happy Families.
Dr Coulson offered insights on how to help young people stay motivated, engaged with learning, and succeed in school and life.

The breakfast followed the sold-out Manningham Parenting Seminar the previous evening, where Dr Coulson spoke to families about resilience and helping children manage life's challenges.
Manningham Mayor, Cr Jim Grivas, said that it was by working together that leaders could provide the best possible environment to help young people thrive.
"Events like this are valuable because they create a space for collaboration, an opportunity to connect, share insights, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing young people today," Cr Grivas said.

Young people from the Manningham Youth Advisory Committee helped to organise what was the fifth annual Principals' Breakfast.
"We're committed to supporting our young residents, raising their voices, and ensuring they have a seat at the table where decisions are made," Cr Grivas said.
We have a range of services, information and resources available to support young people.
The Manningham Parenting Seminar Series and Principals' Breakfast will return in 2027. Subscribe to Manningham eNews to stay informed about upcoming events.
