LEGO Star Wars Exhibition Debuts at Melbourne Museum

Melbourn Museum

Step into the ultimate LEGO® Star Wars™ adventure - brick by brick!

Melbourne, Australia (Wednesday 30 April 2025) The wait is nearly over - galaxy-first LEGO® Star Wars™: The Exhibition officially opens at Melbourne Museum on May the fourth, when visitors will be taken on an immersive journey through the Star Wars galaxy, brick by brick.

This world-first experience, created by Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught, the only LEGO Certified Professional in the Southern Hemisphere, is the largest collection of life-sized LEGO Star Wars models ever assembled. With over eight million LEGO bricks and 25,000+ hours of building, the exhibition showcases breathtaking builds of fan-favourite characters, vehicles and scenes, bringing the epic saga to life in an entirely new way.

Visitors will be the first in the world to:

  • Step into life-sized recreations of iconic Star Wars moments, meticulously built from LEGO bricks.
  • Engage in hands-on experiences: from helping build large-scale Star Wars LEGO landscapes, to taking part in interactive digital activities inspired by epic space battles.
  • Relive all the drama and action of the biggest Star Wars duels brought to life in mesmerising LEGO brick detail.
  • Build your very own LEGO brick Lightsaber and go up against your friends with the thrill of augmented reality.
  • Get ready to build, battle and explore your way across a galaxy far, far away...

Melbourne Museum's hosting of the world premiere further cements its reputation as a must-visit cultural destination in Victoria. With strong cross-generational appeal, LEGO Star Wars: The Exhibition is set to be unmissable for families, LEGO enthusiasts and Star Wars fans alike.
