  • Federal coronavirus stimulus package must reach northwest
    • Liberals must support business and workers with information during this uncertain time
    • Labor wants to work with the Liberals to keep damage to a minimum

The Labor party is calling on the Liberals to ensure coronavirus economic stimulus measures are being rolled out right across the state, including the northwest where numerous businesses are export orientated and exposed.

Labor Leader, Rebecca White, said if the Federal Government does not allocate adequate funding to the northwest, Peter Gutwein must prioritise it in the stimulus package he will announce next week.

"The Liberals must make sure businesses across the northwest can continue to trade and to grow during the period of coronavirus," Ms White said.
