Bayside Council is set to approve the construction of four fitness stations in Linear Park, Mascot following a recommendation from the City Works & Assets Committee Meeting on Wednesday 6 May.
The proposed fitness stations are to be located between Church Avenue and John Street, positioned within the central portion of Linear Park.
During the community engagement process, undertaken from mid-February to mid-March 2026 residents were asked to select their preferred location and equipment for the fitness stations.
Linear Park, situated on land owned by Sydney Water, is managed by Council.
The project has been approved as Exempt Development under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, and landowner consent was granted in November 2025.
