Liquor store robbed at Port Augusta

Port Augusta Police are investigating a robbery at a liquor store last night.

About 7.50pm on Saturday 30 April, a man entered the store on Commercial Road, Port Augusta and threatened staff with a knife. He stole cash and miniature alcohol bottles.

He fled the store and was last seen heading west along El Alamein Road.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.

Patrols quickly arrived on scene and searched the area for the suspect but he has not yet been located.

The suspect is described as of Caucasian appearance, about 170 cm tall, with sandy blonde hair and a heavy build. He was wearing a blue face mask, dark blue Lacoste hooded jumper with distinctive logos on the left sleeve, black trackpants and blue sneakers with white soles.
