Little Malop Street Mall to host BBQ and entertainment

Community members will get the chance to connect with their local councillors, when a free BBQ is held at the Little Malop Street Mall on Tuesday 11 February at 5:30pm.

Musician Jack Meredith will perform during the BBQ, before the Brownbill ward Community Focus council meeting at City Hall at 7:00pm.

The meeting will begin with a snapshot of local projects from Brownbill ward Councillor Peter Murrihy.

The next Community Focus council meeting will be held in the Windermere ward on Tuesday 10 March 2020.

Councillor Stephanie Asher - Mayor

I'm looking forward to meeting with community members at the free BBQ and hope they enjoy the entertainment.

These meet-and-greets are an important opportunity to discuss projects and issues, in a convenient location.

Councillor Peter Murrihy - Brownbill Ward

I'm excited our first Community Focus council meeting BBQ of the year will be held at the Little Malop Street Mall, where council has implemented a number of activations to attract more visitors.

I encourage community members to come say hello and enjoy a free feed and entertainment, before heading across to City Hall for the council meeting.
