Live acts welcome back to entertainment precincts

People gathering to watch a show at the Healesville Entertainment Precinct.

Over the 2021 Easter School Holidays, the Healesville Entertainment Precinct reconnected street performers and local artists with delighted audiences from across the shire and beyond.

From stunning cultural performances featuring West African drumming by Kofi Kunkpe Music to street performers mounting unicycles to juggle blades and fire (MaT-E-TricKs), local audiences were enthralled to see a return of live performances at the new, temporary outdoor space.

As part of Council's Place Recovery Initiative, funded by the State Government and working in partnership with the Mecca Theatre, the Healesville Entertainment Precinct offers vibrant, COVID-Safe opportunities for people to come together again outdoors, interact and embrace local performers who were severely impacted by COVID-19 restrictions.
