Lockdown extended to 10 June

Update: The State Government has announced further lockdown restrictions extending until midnight, Thursday 10 June.

From 2pm today, all customer service will move online with buildings including the Monash Civic Centre closed to the public.

We will now move to assisting people with enquiries online or by phone.

Our immunisation, MCH and click and collect library services continue, as does in-home support for our elderly clients.

The Waste Transfer Station is open only to trades personnel.

Today's announcement is that the five reasons to leave home in metro Melbourne continues:

  • shopping for food and supplies
  • authorised work and study
  • care and caregiving
  • exercise
  • getting vaccinated.

People will be able to travel further for exercise and shopping, with an expanded 10km radius.

Children in years 11 and 12 will return to face-to-face learning. That includes students in other year levels who are doing a Unit 3/4 VCE or VCAL subject, while that class is being taught.
