Bass Coast Shire Council plan to close a section of Lookout Road, San Remo to prevent illegal activities that have been occurring including lighting of fires, dumping of rubbish and hoon driving.
Council's proposal will fence of the last 200 metres of the road for the purpose of ensuring community safety. The section of road will be closed to vehicles but remain open to pedestrians and cyclists to safely use as a shared pathway.
Council invites our community to submit feedback on the proposed closure, with all submissions considered to inform the final decision.
