Lot Fourteen - Google set to unleash digital...

Today at Lot Fourteen, one of the most influential world leading companies, Google, will share insights for entrepreneurs and small businesses to boost digital knowledge and learn new tools to maximise online presence at Google Digital Garage.

Small Business owners, job seekers, students, and business minds can take part in free workshops, one on one consultations, learn new digital skills to start or grow their business ideas in an event that is poised to have sell out sessions – with 750 businesses registered to attend, and over 2,000 registrations in total.

Premier Steven Marshall said the Google Digital Garage presents a great opportunity for local South Australian entrepreneurs and small businesses to connect with the digital giant and learn valuable skills from a multi-million world leading company.

"This is part of the greater vision for Lot Fourteen, creating a space that brings businesses and individuals from across a range of industries, encourages entrepreneurs to accelerate their ideas, foster relationships, and in this case, allows them to learn from one of the world’s most influential companies," said Premier Steven Marshall.

"Google will spend the workshop working with South Australian businesses to improve their interaction with the digital economy – and how local business can better utilise their digital assets to transform their businesses into ones which are more sustainable and future oriented.

"Lot Fourteen is the logical location to host the event – a space right in the centre of the CBD that we envisage will quickly become one of the most significant entrepreneurial and collaboration hubs of 21st century Australia.

"Within Lot Fourteen, we are already witnessing an exciting transformation with the coming together of fast-growing and future industry clusters such as defence and space technologies, cyber security, artificial intelligence, and immersive technologies.

"When fully established in the next five years, thousands of people will work and stay at Lot Fourteen, creating a centre of gravity for the Adelaide start-up community and a neighbourhood that fosters creativity, innovation and collaboration at all levels, in Adelaide’s prominent East End."

Participants will learn from Google experts about search engine optimisation, analytics, how to boost online business online with Google, how to better connect with potential customers, and use marketing tools to make smarter decisions on how to communicate with key target audiences.
