Townsville City Council advises that it will conduct routine grass maintenance on Ross River Road outside Weir State School, including the area used for a memorial to Jennifer Broad.
Council respects the importance of this memorial and a Council crew will respectfully remove all memorial items and dispose of withered floral tributes before undertaking the maintenance. Memorial items and still-healthy flowers will then be placed back.
