Major Crime search Seacombe Gardens, South Australia

A man has been charged with drug offences following another search regarding the ongoing investigation into the murder of Robert Atkins.

About 9am this morning, Thursday 26 August, following an investigation Detectives from Major Crime Investigation Branch attended a home in Seacombe Gardens to conduct a search.

Inside officers allegedly found about an amount of methamphetamine, cocaine, approximately 100 ecstasy tablets, cannabis, hydroponic equipment, and about $7000 cash.

A 46-year-old man from the address has been charged with three counts of drug trafficking, and possessing prescribed equipment. He has been bailed to appear in AMC on 3 November 2021.

The investigation into the murder of Robert Atkins is ongoing and has a focus on those associated with methamphetamine distribution in the southern suburbs.
