Northcote police have charged a man following an incident in Northcote yesterday morning (8 September), Victoria Police say.
The man was allegedly masturbating in front of a woman in a reserve on Brevington Way about 9am.
A witness ran into the nearby police station and alerted police who quickly arrested the man.
The 24-year-old Northcote man was charged with conducting a sexual act in the direction of another person.
He has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 20 December.
