Man arrested for murder at Seacombe Gardens, SA

A man has been arrested for murder following the death of a man at Seacombe Gardens overnight, according to SA Police.

Just before 2am on Wednesday 26 September police and ambulance crews were called to Miller Street near there the intersection of Diagonal Road following reports of man with a stab wound.

On arrival ambulance officers treated the male for stab wound to the abdomen but sadly he died at the scene.

Police patrols then took a 33-year-old man from Seacombe Gardens into custody, he was interviewed by Detectives and charged with murder.

Both men were known to each other and it is not considered a random incident.

Crime Scene examiners remain at the scene, with police also speaking to witnesses and nearby residents.

The arrested man will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.

Miller Street remains closed to all traffic
