Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal multi-vehicle collision in Armstrong last year.
It is alleged two cars, a B-double and two smaller trucks were involved in a collision on the Western Highway, near the intersection of Thomas Road, about 12.30pm on 28 May 2025.
Two occupants of an Isuzu van, a 49-year-old Lyndhurst man and his 24-year-old female passenger from Clyde North, died at the scene.
The driver of a Toyota Kluger, a 65-year-old South Australian man, also died at the scene.
A 63-year-old Horsham man, 83-year-old Geelong woman and 52-year-old Corio man were each transported to hospital.
Today detectives charged the 63-year-old Horsham man with three counts of dangerous driving causing death.
He was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 16 March.
