Man charged after Bankstown Fire Station break and enter, NSW

A man has been charged following an alleged break and enter at Bankstown, NSW Police say.

Just after 12am on Wednesday 14 November 2018, NSW Fire & Rescue crews returned from a job to Bankstown Fire Station when they located a man on the property.

Firemen detained the man until police attended, before he was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station.

A 41-year-old man was charged with enter enclosed land without lawful excuse, and possess housebreaking implements.

He was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today (Wednesday 14 November 2018).
