A man has been charged with drug trafficking after police seized a significant quantity of methylamphetamine, as well as cannabis and cash in Melbourne's east.
Detectives from the Caulfield Divisional Response Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Nandina Street, Forest Hill, about 5.30pm on Thursday 23 November.
During the search, it will be alleged police located and seized 20kg of methylamphetamine with an estimated value of $2 million.
Police also seized a quantity of cannabis and more than $20,000 in cash.
A 33-year-old Forest Hill man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with traffick large commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, possess large commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, traffick cannabis, possess cannabis, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, and fail to comply with direction to assist.
He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 16 February 2024.
