Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a 62-year-old man in Bairnsdale on Saturday, Victoria Police say.
The man’s body was discovered at a residence on Wallace Street by police about 5pm on Saturday 17 March.
Detectives arrested a man and a woman in Bairnsdale on Sunday afternoon.
A 34-year-old Bairnsdale man has been charged with one count of murder.
He will appear at the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
A 45-year-old Bairnsdale woman has been released pending further enquiries.
