Man Charged for Indecent Exposure on Central Coast

A man will face court today charged following an investigation into an alleged indecent exposure on the Central Coast earlier this week.

About 7pm on Tuesday 24 October 2023, police attended a property on Barnhill Road, Terrigal, following reports a man had allegedly exposed himself to a teenage girl, before fleeing in a vehicle.

Officers from Brisbane Water Police District commenced an investigation into the incident.

Following extensive inquiries, police arrested a 50-year-old man at a home on Blueridge Drive, Blue Haven, about 9pm yesterday (Wednesday 25 October 2023).

He was taken to Wyong Police Station and charged with intentionally carry out sexual act towards a child (older than 10 years and younger than 16 years), enter land with intent to commit indictable offence, and drive contrary to direction of traffic lane.

The man was refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court today (Thursday 26 October 2023).
