A man has been charged after allegedly sexual touching a woman in Sydney's north yesterday.
On Tuesday 14 April 2026, officers attached to Police Transport Command, with the assistance from Ku-Ring-Gai Police Area Command, commenced an investigation following reports of a sexual touching in Gordon.
Police were told about 4.40pm on the same day, a 39-year-old woman was waiting on the platform at Gordon Railway Station, when an unknown man sexually touched her before leaving the scene.
Following inquiries, about 5pm on the same day, police arrested the 53-year-old man on Station Street, Hornsby.
The man was taken to Hornsby Police Station where he was charged with sexually touch another person without consent and common assault.
He was refused bail to appear at Hornsby Local Court today (Wednesday 15 April 2026).
