A 26-year-old Duncraig man will appear before Perth Magistrates Court today after he allegedly made threats towards a police officer attached to the Firearms Reform Division.
It is alleged in September 2024 the man used a mobile phone to make threats against the officer.
It is further alleged, during a search warrant at the man's home in September 2024, officers allegedly located two rifle barrels that were not licensed.
Officers from the State Security Investigation Group charged the man in 2024 with:
• Statements or Acts Creating False Apprehension as to the Existence of Threats or Danger.
• Unlicensed Person Possess Firearm/Ammunition.
He is next due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 22 July 2025.
