Man Charged in North Hobart Pharmacy Robbery Attempt

Detectives from South East CIB have charged a 29-year-old man from North Hobart with attempted armed robbery in relation to an incident at a pharmacy in North Hobart yesterday.

About 1.15pm, the man allegedly demanded money from staff within the pharmacy while he was armed with a knife.

A customer reportedly intervened before the man ran from the store.

Nothing was stolen, and no physical injuries were reported.

The man been bailed to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on 22 June 2026.
