Upper Mount Gravatt Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a man following investigations into armed robberies in Sunnybank and Wishart on 22 February.
It is alleged between 11pm to 11.30pm, a 22-year-old Logan Central man approached three separate people at a Beenleigh Road park, on Mains Road and on Mount Gravatt Capalaba Road and demanded money whilst armed with an airsoft pistol.
The man allegedly stole a small quantity of money during the incidents and was seen fleeing in a white Holden Astra.
No one was physically harmed during the instances.
On 24 February, investigators, with the support of PSRT and Gold Coast Rapid Action and Patrols, conducted a search warrant at an Inchcape Court address in Ashmore where they arrested the 22-year-old Logan Central man.
During a search of the premises, officers seized a quantity of property including an airsoft pistol, drug utensils and small quantity of methylamphetamine and cannabis.
The 22-year-old Logan Central man has since been charged with two counts each of attempted armed robbery and possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of armed robbery and possess category H weapon.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to reappear before Southport Magistrates Court on 25 March.
