A man has faced court charged with alleged domestic violence related offences in the state's Central West last week.
About 12pm on Friday 28 August 2026, officers attached to Central West Police District – with assistance from Western Region Operations Support Group – executed a Firearms Prohibition Order compliance search at a home in Murrin Bridge.
Police arrested a 30-year-old man at the address, who was wanted by virtue of an outstanding arrest warrant in relation to alleged domestic violence offences.
During a search of the home, police allegedly located and seized a glock-style gel blaster.
The man was taken to Lake Cargelligo Police Station, where he was charged with armed with intent commit indictable offence, and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic).
He appeared before Bail Division Court 4 on Saturday 29 August 2026, where he was formally refused bail to reappear before Lake Cargelligo Local Court today (Tuesday 1 September 2026).
