A man has died after being pulled from the water in Sydney's east this afternoon.
About 2.30pm (Thursday 4 December 2025), emergency services were called to a tidal swimming pool, on New South Head Road, Double Bay, following reports of a concern for welfare.
Officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command arrived to find an unresponsive man had been pulled from the water by members of the public.
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.
Police have established a crime scene, and an investigation has commenced into the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
