Man dies after motorcycle crash - Belrose

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on the Northern Beaches.

Around 1.30pm today (Wednesday 4 October 2023), emergency services were called to the Narabang Way exit off Mona Vale Road, Belrose, following reports of a motorcycle crashing into a tree.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the rider; however, the man – aged 51 – died at the scene.

Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene and an investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The Narabang Way exit off Mona Vale Road has been closed for the duration of the investigation.

Local diversions are in place and motorists are urged to monitor livetraffic.com for any traffic updates.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
