Man dies after single-vehicle crash at Blue Mountains

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the Blue Mountains overnight.

Just before 11pm (Thursday 13 February 2020), emergency services were called to Wascoe Street, near Lennox Street, at Glenbrook, following reports a car had crashed into a tree.

The driver, a man believed to be aged in his 40s, was pulled from the vehicle and, despite attempts to revive him, died at the scene. He has not been formally identified.

Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
