A rider has died after a two-vehicle crash near Bathurst overnight.
Just after 10.20pm yesterday (Saturday 25 July 2026), emergency services were called to Great Western Highway, near Lions Club Drive, Kelso, following reports of a motorcycle had crashed into a parked truck.
On arrival, officers attached to Chifley Police District located the body of an 18-year-old male rider, along with a damaged motorcycle and truck at the scene.
Police were told the man was ejected from the motorcycle after the crash.
A crime scene has been established, and police commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
