Man dies in crash - Casula

A man has died after his car crashed into a parked truck in Sydney's south-west overnight.

Just after midnight (Sunday 19 April 2020), a Mazda 3 was travelling north on Campbelltown Road, Casula, when it hit the median strip and crashed into the back of a parked truck.

Officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command were at a nearby service station and have immediately rendered assistance to the driver; however, he died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene was established, and officers from Liverpool City Police Area have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
