Man drowns at Clovelly Beach, NSW

A man has drowned at Clovelly Beach in Sydney's East.

About 2pm (Tuesday 1 January 2019), emergency services were called after a 34-year-old man was pulled from the water unconscious.

A doctor at the scene attempted to resuscitate the man, however he was unable to be revived.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attended and are investigating the incident.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
