Man facing drugs and firearms charges - Moorebank

A man has been charged with drug and firearms offences following a vehicle search in Sydney's south west.

About 3pm (Tuesday 28 May 2019), officers from Liverpool Police Area Command, approached a 20-year-old man and following a brief conversation found reason to conduct a vehicle search.

During the search, police discovered two replica pistols, cannabis, methylamphetamine, MDMA, GHB and the prescription drug Xanax.

The man was arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station.

He was charged with eight drug and firearms offences including two counts of possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, three counts of possess prohibited drug, two counts of supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity) and supply prohibited drug (small quantity).

The man was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Court today (Wednesday 29 May 2019).
