A man is in a critical condition after he was found lying in the middle of a road suffering head injuries in Sydney's north.
Just before 2.30am (Tuesday 7 January 2020), emergency services were called to Victor Road, Brookvale, following reports a passing motorist found a man laying unresponsive on the road.
A 73-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
