A man will appear in court today charged with domestic violence-related offences and an armed robbery following an arrest by Camden Police this morning.
About 12.15am (Friday 3 April 2020), officers from Camden Police Area Command went to a house at Arena Street, Spring Farm in relation to a report of domestic violence.
Police commenced an investigation and later arrested a 28-year-old man. As the man was being placed in the rear of a police truck, it is alleged the man kicked the door of the caged truck, damaging it.
The man was taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with:
- Destroy or damage property – domestic violence related (2 counts)
- Destroy or damage property
- Assault – domestic related
- Robbery whilst armed with offensive weapon (the charge relates to the alleged armed robbery of a chicken shop at Gregory Hills about 10.30pm Thursday 12 January 2020.
The man, from Schofields, was refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court today (Friday 3 April 2020).
