A man is assisting police with their enquiries following a unit fire in Collingwood this evening.
The unit, on Palmer Street, became engulfed in flames about 10.15pm and was extensively damaged before the fire was brought under control.
It is believed the occupant of the unit, a 36-year-old woman, was not home at the time of the fire.
