A man has been charged following a violent brawl on the Central Coast at the weekend.
Police have been told about 7.45pm on Saturday 21 September 2019, a group of males were drinking at a licensed premises on Gamban Road, Gwandalan.
A 24-year-old man became involved in a verbal argument with another man, before a 50-year-old man allegedly assaulted him.
He received a deep laceration to his face and neck and was taken to Wyong Hospital for treatment.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended a nearby address on Gamban Road a short time later and arrested the 50-year old.
He was charged with reckless wounding and was granted conditional bail to appear at Wyong Local Court on Wednesday 2 October 2019.
