A man missing from Sydney's south has been located safe and well.
The 79-year-old was last seen at a residence on Middlemiss Street, Mascot, about 8.30pm yesterday (Friday 5 May 2023).
When he failed to return home or make contact with family members, he was reported missing to officers from South Sydney Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following extensive inquiries – including a geo-target SMS alert – the man was located in Mascot about 3pm today (Saturday 6 May 2023).
